Villa boss O’Neill: Guzan driving Friedel forward

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill believes Brad Freidel's success this season has been inspired by fellow American goalkeeper Brad Guzan.
Friedel was again outstanding in Villa's 0-0 draw with Tottenham.
O'Neill believes the arrival of fellow American Guzan at the start of last season has brought the best out of 38-year-old Friedel.
"I think he has been reinvigorated with the arrival of young Brad Guzan," O'Neill said. "The two Americans coming together, there's a bit of competition and I just think that Brad has been exceptional. In the last number of weeks his performances have been terrific."
