North Queensland Fury coach Ian Ferguson is a Rangers legend and last week caught up with tribalfootball.com to reflect on the great club.

After beginning his career with Clyde, the former hardnosed midfielder made over 300 appearances for Rangers after crossing from St Mirren where he scored the only goal in the 1987 Scottish Cup triumph over Duneed United.

When he made the move to Ibrox, Ferguson won ten Scottish titles (the second most ever), played in each season of Rangers nine consecutive championships between 1988/89 and 1996/97before joining Dunfermline in 2000.

He then moved down under in 2002 where he joined Northern Spirit of the National Soccer League before making a handful of appearances in the A-League with the Central Coast Mariners.

Along the way, Ferguson was awarded with nine caps with the Scottish national team before eventually moving into management where he now guides the Fury who are in their first A-League season.

Check out the video of Ferguson as he shares his thoughts on all things Rangers as well as what he would do if he was ever offered a coaching role with fierce rivals Celtic.
