Victorian State Premier John Brumby will be on hand to thank the Celtic Football Club for their recent generosity.

The Scottish Premier League club donated just over $20,000 to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal that took place in March this year to assist victims of the tragedy.

Celtic and Australia striker Scott McDonald will be at Celtic Park to represent Celtic to greet Premier Brumby at 10am Friday morning, UK time.

McDonald scored the equaliser for Celtic in their 1-1 Europa League draw with Austrian outfit Rapid Vienna on Thursday night.
