Luke Varney is desperate for Blackpool to record their first home win against West Bromwich Albion tonight.

The Tangerines face West Bromwich Albion at Bloomfield Road having impressed in all three of their home fixtures so far, but they have yet to pick up the win they deserve, something Varney is keen to change.

"It's going to be a massive game, they're coming off the back of a couple of great victories as well so it'll be a tough game but we've been very competitive at home so far, not point wise, but it'll be a good game and if selected then it's one I'll be looking forward to," Varney told Blackpool's website.

And having met in the Championship last season, the 28-year old thinks the match will be a good measure of just how far both sides have come.

"It'll be a good test, we know them well and it'll be a great encounter, it's a Monday night game in front of the floodlights so it'll be a great occasion, I'm sure it'll be another full house and I can't wait to play," added Varney.
