van Persie, Johnson’s placenta therapist under investigation

The human placenta therapist who has helped Arsenal’s Robin van Persie and Liverpool’s Glen Johnson is reportedly under investigation.

Serbian therapist Mariana Kovacevic has come under notice from Serbia’s Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic because he is unsure whether or not she has a medical licence.

According to Mirror Sport, Kovacevic’s practice in a Belgrade shopping centre was investigated on Wednesday but two health department workers were sent away without being gained entry and the therapist could not be contacted.

The report also revealed that locks were put on the office and it seemed as though the clinic had been shut down as the department of health indicated there were many unlicensed therapists operating.
