Van Persie hopes to play again for Arsenal this term

Robin van Persie has hopes to seeing action for Arsenal before season's end.

The 26-year-old Dutch star has been out with an ankle injury since November but has now resumed jogging.

Van Persie said: "At this point I can say that my recovery is right on schedule. The injury has been quite bad.

"I would however like to be part of the team's campaign in the later stages of the league, or if we are still there, in the Champions League."
