Van Marwijk open to Holland return for Man Utd's Van der Sar

Holland coach Bert van Marwijk has opened the door to an international return for Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar.

"I've heard about what has happened with Edwin. As I've said, he should be fit first and then we'll see how things go after he returns to play. At this time there is no Van der Sar debate for me," said Van Marwijk.

"As a goalkeeper Edwin is above the competition.

"But we have to see how fit he is."
