Van der Sar reveals Man Utd contract agreement

Edwin van der Sar has revealed he's agreed a new contract with Manchester United.

The Dutch goalkeeper has put his life and career back on track after the serious illness suffered by his wife Annemarie late last year.

Now he feels he can stay United’s No.1 for at least another season and accepted their offer of a new deal.

Van der Sar said: “I would like to keep on playing so I have decided to sign another contract.

“The club want me to stay, I am happy here, my fitness is good and I feel I can carry on playing at United.”
