Valencia will only sell Villa for £50M

Valencia striker David Villa knows he will be allowed to leave this summer only if an offer of £50 million arrives.

Villa and his agent, Jose Luis Tamargo, met with Valencia president Manuel Llorente yesterday to discuss Barcelona's pursuit of the Spain international.

With a buyer found for the Mestalla, Valencia are under no pressure to sell and Llorente made it clear to Villa that only an offer of £50 million would convince him otherwise.

over doing it is an understatement and villa has always insited he wants barca not liverpool an he doesnt even want to leave la liga so this seems like shit to me!!, an the deal is €uros not £pounds, they want €50m euros

Even though I think Villa is worth every pound in this deal, I still think Valencia is overdoing it.

Apparently a deal is already in place with LFC 40m plus Riera and Voronin, plus loan deal for 12mths for Dani P - total deal is worth 60M. All dependant on the sale of Alonso to RM for 30M
