USA striker Davies out of intensive care

USA international Charlie Davies is out of intensive care as he continues to recover from serious injuries he sustained in a car accident last week.

USA international Charlie Davies is out of intensive care as he continues to recover from serious injuries he sustained in a car accident last week.

The 23-year old Sochaux striker will undergo surgery next week to mend a broken left elbow and could also need surgery on facial injuries.

He also received a broken right leg and a lacerated bladder from the incident.

Davies is now listed in fair condition at Washington Hospital after being in intensive care and now faces in between six and 12 months recovery time.
