Uruguay league name their Golden Boot after Atletico Madrid star Diego Forlan

The title for the top scorer of the Uruguayan league is being renamed the Diego Forlan trophy.

The Uruguay FA have made the decision to honour Atletico Madrid star Diego Forlan, who won the Golden Ball at this year's World Cup as the tournament's best player.

Forlan scored five goals to be first among the top scorers in the World Cup and was also voted best player of the tournament by FIFA.
