Umbro stand by Chelsea captain Terry

Umbro are standing by Chelsea captain John Terry as a sponsor.

The Daily Mail says Umbro declared yesterday they would be keeping Terry as a client.

The Umbro statement on Terry, who has figured prominently in the online build-up to today’s launch of the new red England kit, said: "Although he will no longer be England captain, John remains a player of the highest ability and as a football brand Umbro will continue to support him and the England team."
