Toure agent hopes for quick Barcelona agreement over new contract

The agent of Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure wants a new deal secured for the Ivorian by the end of the week.

"Barcelona is optimistic about a resolution," said Dmitri Selyuk. "I think we are close to re-signing.

"Of course, the limit is next week: it is closed or not. There are many clubs interested in my client, three Italian clubs, many in England and two in Spain."
