Tottenham shift focus to Nice’s Remy

Nice striker Loic Remy has become Tottenham’s number on target for the remainder of the transfer window.

Nice striker Loic Remy has become Tottenham’s number on target for the remainder of the transfer window.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp watched Remy in France’s 2-1 loss to Norway on Wednesday night and is now reportedly set to pay the £13million required to secure his services.

Redknapp believes the fee is a bit rich but will pay up if Spurs can get further interest in selling either Peter Crouch or Robbie Keane.

Remy has been heavily linked with West Ham United and Stoke City as well as Liverpool to a lesser extent.
