Tottenham release Yuri Berchiche to Real Valladolid

Tottenham have sold Spanish defender Yuri Berchiche to Real Valladolid.

The Spanish defender joined the Spurs Academy from Athletic Bilbao in June 2007 and last season spent three months on loan at Cheltenham Town.

Valladolid beat Bilbao for his signing.
