Tottenham ready to launch bid for Atletico Madrid striker Forlan

Tottenham are eyeing Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan.

The Sun says his contract still has three years to run but Forlan wants out and that will rekindle Spurs boss Harry Redknapp's interest.

Forlan said: "Everybody says things, that maybe you don't want to go back.

"The time I had in England was great and if I had the chance to go back I'd be really happy."
