Tottenham have agreement for Zambian left-back Emmanuel Mbola

Zambian left-back Emmanuel Mbola is joining Tottenham.

The Mirror says Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is trying to find a club in Belgium for Mbola - after setting up a £1million move to White Hart Lane from Armenia's Yerevan.

The teenage defender has been to Spurs for talks and will sign once the red-tape problems are sorted out, with Redknapp and the player's agent looking to place him in Europe for next season.

Mbola said: "Tottenham were happy with me and I should be going back, depending on how fast the issues are sorted out. I could not sign because I have to finalise things with my club

"I am not going back to Yerevan because I have issues with my contract. Spurs liked me a lot but there is contract confusion with my Armenian club and my agent."

Couldnt agree more - I rest my case. For £1M..... it's peanuts these days.

My guess is that he probably won't make it...... seem to remember (my minds going) the African Young Player of the year playing for Spurs about 10 - 15 years ago? (midfielder). Scored a cracking goal in his 1 appearance - was never seen again (or anywhere else in England for that matter).

I'm glad Spurs plan long term. That way they won't become a Portsmouth. Sound financial planning - well done Mr Levy!.

But where is this youngstar? Has he really been signed or spurs hope to sign? i need some answers

This kid is PURE CLASS..................Watch him on YouTube.

He can also play just as good as a Defensive-Midfielder...
