Tottenham to grab Spartak Moscow’s Pletikosa on loan

Tottenham are on the brink of bringing in Spartak Moscow goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa for a season-long loan.

The 31-year old Croatian gloveman will be shipped in by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp to provide cover and competition for Heurelho Gomes and Carlo Cudicini.

Reports suggest he is in London now and will have a medical in the next day or two before joining on a loan deal and becoming Redknapp’s first arrival of the summer.
