Tottenham defender Dawson hopes for more chances under Redknapp

Tottenham defender Michael Dawson hopes for more chances next season under manager Harry Redknapp.

He told Spurs TV Online: "When Harry came in after eight games, things turned around for a couple of months and it was looking good again until we went through another bad patch.

"But it was always going to be an uphill battle after the start we made, so to get back in contention and climb up the table was good.

"I played quite a few games, which was very good from a personal point of view. I love playing football and that's what it boils down to at the end of the day.

"To come back from where we were to be in with a chance of qualifying for Europe on the final day makes it seem like a good season."
