Tottenham defender Sebastien Bassong admits he is still keeping an eye on Newcastle United's results.
The Cameroon international is delighted to see his old club favourites to win the Championship and promotion back to the Premier League.
Bassong told The Sun: "I would also love to see Newcastle get promoted. They are a massive club and should be in the Premier League.
"I had a great year with them and it was a difficult decision to make, but I knew I had to keep playing in the Premier League for my international chances."
