Tottenham coach Jordan upset seeing Portsmouth in crisis

Tottenham coach Joe Jordan is upset for former club Portsmouth after seeing them go into administration.

It is two years since he contributed to Portsmouth’s FA Cup win and the joy of that summer’s day seems innocently heedless now that the club has fallen into administration and 85 people have lost their jobs.

“I know a lot of the people there, the coaches, and I still speak to them regularly,” he told the Sunday Herald. “I knew the administrator was going in on Monday to sort things out and I know people who have lost their jobs. It’s a horrendous situation, because it’s their life, it’s someone who’s maybe worked there for 10, 15 years. It’s disastrous what’s happening.”
