Tottenham chasing Burnley winger Eagles

Tottenham are chasing Burnley winger Chris Eagles.

The People says Eagles is a summer target for Spurs - if Burnley are relegated from the Premier League.

Harry Redknapp believes Eagles, a boyhood Spurs fan, would be a useful addition as he can play on either flank.

The 24-year-old former Manchester United youngster has one year left on his contract at Turf Moor and is intent on staying in the top flight.

No way is this ever going to happen, if we're gonna go for a winger though let it be Dorrens from West Brom. He's younger and much better than Eagles and does'nt come with a stupid hairstyle...we have a few of them already.

There is no doubt that Eagles has huge potential. I can only presume though that this deal for 'wheeler dealer' Harry and is part of a bigger picture.

If Spurs were to sell David Bentley this would release funds to bring in another top player.
