Tottenham boss Redknapp warns Europe: More to come from Bale
Welshman Bale gave Inter Milan the fright of their lives with a hat-trick as Spurs lost 4-3 in the San Siro in a thrilling Champions League Group A encounter two weeks ago.
Inter arrive at White Hart Lane for the return fixture this week and Redknapp is predicting big things from Bale.
"He's still really young and can only get better. He's got height, power, can run all day, shoot and dribble. He's a great athlete, it's all there for him," Redknapp told UEFA.com.
While European football purred over Bale's exploits in Milan, the 21-year-old refused to get carried away.
"He keeps his feet on the ground himself," added Redknapp. "He's such a quiet level-headed boy. He's not at all flashy. I gave him a couple of days off this week because I thought he needed a rest."
Redknapp is confident a refreshed Bale can once again give Inter a stiff test.
He said: "They know, as I said, that we can cause Inter problems. Maicon is supposed to be the best attacking right-back in the world but he had problems stopping Gareth going the other way."
