Tottenham boss Redknapp sees Liverpool as most vulnerable
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp sees Liverpool as the most vulnerable of the current top four.
Liverpool and boss Rafa Benitez were eliminated from Europe’s top competition on Tuesday.
And Redknapp, whose team beat the Reds on the opening day, told the Daily Express: "You look at the way the league is panning out and there is possibly one position going spare in that top four.
"Manchester United and Chelsea are not going to be shifted from there, certainly not in the short term. You’ve got to fancy Arsenal a bit as they’ve turned a few heads, are playing well and looking good. But I really don’t think we are far away from them.
"Behind them you’ve got Liverpool and a group of three or four others, and we’re right at the head of it. We’ll be there, pushing all the way. The real thing is that we must believe that we are good enough because, trust me, we are."

I thought Arsenal would be the most likely to falter and offer hope to the chasing group of four - Spurs, Villa, Everton and City - but now it looks like Liverpool are a spent force. Even with Gerrard and Torres they are not the team they were - they really do miss Alonso, and if Mascherano also departs they will drop like a stone. Everton have been a severe disappointment - even Sunderland with a Bent striker are looking better. Man City have spent and spent but are not performing and now have a severe test with a lot of tough games coming up. Villa v Spurs this weekend looks like an early 4th place play off.
Liverpool use to be dangerous when they had to fight back, but the truth is you have 2 good players and the rest are average at best, benayoun is ok but Kuyt is not all that and is know liverpool player just like the rest of your squad.
Harry Redknapp should take note. Yes,Liverpool is vulnerable now but Liverpool are very dangerous when they fight back, Liverpool players have a very good mentality. Eg. Yossi Benayoun, Dirk Kuyt!
