Torres sticking with Liverpool after Puyol chat
Liverpool ace Fernando Torres says he's keeping faith in the club - after a chat with Barcelona captain Carles Puyol.
Torres admits he's desperate to win trophies with Liverpool.
He explained: "I talked with Carlos some years ago and he said he was 23 or 24 at Barcelona and hadn't won a single trophy but now he has plenty of them.
"Puyol told me to be patient. He said 'you are at a massive club and will win trophies eventually. If you have patience and keep thinking you can do it, it definitely will arrive'.
"So I know that when the first trophy comes, we can win plenty of them.
"Last season we won at Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford because we really believed in ourselves. We have to do the same now.
"If you can beat Chelsea away then you know you can beat any team in Europe."
