Chelsea expect to secure several of their senior players to new contracts.

The Daily Express says John Terry’s decision to stay will help them secure the futures of Ashley Cole, Joe Cole and Didier Drogba.

Ashley Cole has two years left of his £80,000-a-week deal and will be offered a new, four-season contract worth £10,000 more.

Blues are also in negotiations to get Joe Cole on a new deal. Despite interest from Tottenham and the fact he will not be guaranteed first-team football, Joe Cole has no desire to leave and is eager to get his future sorted. Drogba is expected to commit to a three-year contract before the season starts.
