Sydney FC new boy Kisel keen to impress
Sydney FC signing Karol Kisel is keen to impress at his new club and welcomes the pressure that comes with being a European import.
The former Sparta Prague winger is intent on doing all he can to lift the Sky Blues out of mediocrity and expects there to be pressure attached.
"Certainly. It's always like this in our country, in Europe and in Australia too,” he told Sportal.
"I'm here to be a good player and to take responsibility for the team and results.
"I'm really glad that I'm here and proud to be part of Sydney FC.
"They are a very attractive team and it's a new challenge for me and I want to win another title."
The 32-year old said he was looking forward to working with new coach Vitezslav Lavicka and plans to become a more attacking commodity in his new environment.
"It's good that he's (Lavicka) here because he's a good coach.
"(I can't say) the amount but I want to score some goals.
"Every year I've played I've scored some very nice goals, so I want to score here."
