Sydney FC coach Lavicka excited about Central Coast match
New Sydney FC coach Vitezslav Lavicka is looking forward to Monday’s friendly against Central Coast Mariners.
The Sky Blues have been playing a series of pre-season friendlies against New South Wales Premier League clubs but will face A-League rivals the Mariners at Leichhardt Oval on Monday.
Despite playing a match against North Queensland Fury, Lavicka is looking forward to taking on an A-League club.
“This is important game for Sydney FC in our pre season,” Lavicka said.
“We have played State League sides at their grounds and done well to win all eight games but this is bigger test.
“This is against A-League team and we will have better knowledge of our pre season progress. I was happy against North Queensland but every time we play another A-League team I get more information on how our pre-season is. I look forward to seeing Sydney FC play the Mariners.”
