The hamstring injury to striker Mark Bridge has opened the door for the 19-year old Ghanaian-born Australian U20 international and fellow attacker Alex Brosque is happy his young teammate is getting another opportunity.

"It's good for him, he's been waiting for a long time to really have a crack and if he comes in, he's more than ready to go," said Brosque.

"He's been fit for a while now and looking very sharp at training, which is good for us."

Sydney travel to Townsville to take on the Fury at Dairy Farmers Stadium on Saturday evening – kick-off is at 5:15pm.
