Switzerland ace Gelson: Spurs midfielder Huddlestone should be in England XI

Switzerland midfielder Gelson Fernandes says Tottenham ace Tom Huddlestone should be in the England team.

Fernandes, formerly of Manchester City, is now with Chievo Verona in Italy.

"England had nobody to protect the defenders at the World Cup," he said. "Tom Huddlestone could do it. It surprises me that he’s not in the squad either."
