Hull City defender Paul McShane has been recalled from his loan by Sunderland.

The former west Brom centre half played his final game for the Tigers in their 1-0 FA Cup third round replay win at Newcastle last night.

He was sent to the KC Stadium by Roy Keane but his successor Ricky Sbragia is desperate for defensive reinforcements.
