Sunderland are continuing talks with Cruz Azul for midfielder Cristian Riveros.

The Journal says Sunderland have begun negotiations with Mexican side Cruz Azul over their Paraguayan midfielder.

Black Cats boss Steve Bruce is keen to wrap up a deal for Riveros ahead of the summer market.
