Sunderland chasing Deportivo Toluca winger Nestor Calderon

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is again shopping in the Central American transfer market.

Bruce is keen to boost his midfield options in January and is chasing Deportivo Toluca winger Nestor Calderon.

The Daily Mail says Bruce hopes to land the Mexico international when the winter market opens.

The Black Cats boss has an extensive network in Central America, having brought Maynor Figueroa, Wilson Palacios and Hendry Thomas all to England in the past.
