Stoke City midfielder Liam Lawrence is confident teammate James Beattie will start scoring again.
Beattie has yet to open his account this term after netting seven crucial goals in 16 games for Stoke last year.
Lawrence said: “He was on fire for us when he turned up and now it’s just about getting his confidence back this season.
“He was £3m well spent and scored some important goals and it helped us stay up.
“He’s big and strong and good in the air. His finishing is really excellent and he’s the best finisher in training.
“He’s always reminding me he’s a better finisher than me but that’s what he’s paid to do!”
