The ex-Spurs midfielder, 23, is keen to quit Pompey.

And Pulis confessed: "We have been working to get deals done but it's not gone for us yet."

Pulis fears Celtic will go for Liam Lawrence if they sell winger Aiden McGeady to Aston Villa or Spartak Moscow.
