Stoke boss Pulis happy to work with Begovic
Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is happy to work with Asmir Begovic.
Pulis recalled goalkeeper Begovic to his squad for the defeat at Chelsea and reaffirmed the Club's determination to keep him at the Britannia Stadium.
Begovic did not feature in the Carling Cup tie against Shrewsbury Town because he said he was not in the right frame of mind to play and there has been a considerable amount of speculation about interest from Chelsea and other Premier League clubs.
But Pulis told the club's website: "Asmir is a fantastic goalkeeper and a good lad, but he has had his head turned by mindless people behind the scenes.
"We will do our utmost to keep him at this Football Club because he is an outstanding talent. He has had his knuckles rapped and will learn from his mistakes."
