Stoke City boss Tony Pulis insists Andy Griffin hasn't been frozen out because of his ruck with Ricardo Fuller earlier this season.

“Him being out of the team has nothing whatsoever to do with what happened with Ric,” Pulis insisted.

“Wilko (Andy Wilkinson) came in and has just done so, so well for us that it’s been difficult for Griff to get back in.

“But his attitude has been brilliant and he’s not been a minute’s problem about it. He’s disappointed not to be playing, of course, but I understand that from an experienced player.”
