Stoke City have added a trio of players late on transfer deadline day.
Monaco’s Eidur Gudjohnsen has joined on a season-long loan whilst winger Jermaine Pennant has joined from Real Zaragoza on loan and Marc Wilson has joined from Portsmouth.
The biggest news is the signing of Gudjohnsen who spent part of last season on loan with Tottenham and was being pursued by a number of clubs.
Potters boss Tony Pulis would be delighted with the swoop and can now team the Iceland international with summer signing Kenwyne Jones to make a formidable strike duo.
