Spurs fullback Smith outstanding on Torquay debut

Tottenham fullback Adam Smith impressed on debut for Torquay in their defeat to Rotherham United.
He played the full 90 minutes at left-back and was named Man of the Match.
"I thought Adam was fantastic," said Torquay boss Paul Buckle. "He knows what he's doing as a defender and he certainly gave us some attacking flair.
"
He thoroughly deserved the Man of the Match Award."
