Spurs boss Redknapp: I can’t find place for Jenas

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he's struggling to find a place in midfield for Jermaine Jenas.

Wilson Palacios and Tom Huddlestone have been the cornerstone of Spurs' midfield this season and manager Harry Redknapp admitted he is struggling to accommodate all three.

Redknapp said: "Two of them [Huddlestone and Jenas] are trying to get in that England squad and Wilson, has been fantastic. I tried playing all three of them against Sunderland with Robbie Keane in behind them but it didn't really work.

"We got away with it without playing very well but there's nothing to say that system wouldn't work another day."

At least Redknapp isn't accommodating Jenas just to. Hopefully this is the same situation with Robbie Keane. Our first eleven are playing based on merit and since the Sunderland match 'Arry has got the side and the tactics right.

I've always found that Jenas does a really good job on the right side of midfield. When given an isolated position he always performs strongly; however there is no way he plays ahead of Lennon. Great player to have come off the bench and Palacios and Huddlestone won't play all the time so it's a matter of biding his time and taking advantage when he does play.

JJ is good to come on when we need a spark around the 70th min. I think he has the passion but lacks a little skill imo.

there is about as much chance of Krancjar & Modric playing together as there is of a cow jumping over the moon!
