Spalletti dilemma as AC Milan make contact

AC Milan have made contact with Luciano Spalletti about next season.

Having been sacked by Roma this term, Spalletti cannot take charge of another Serie A club until the end of the campaign.

Corriere dello Sport says Milan want to install Spalletti as coach next season, with Leonardo keeping things ticking over in the meantime.

For his part, Spalletti is torn. He has a lucrative offer on the table from Zenit St Petersburg and doesn't know whether to accept it, or wait for the Rossoneri.

Unfortunately, no manager can "rescue" Milan until they buy some good players. Not freebies, cheapies, or fatty brazilians - real players. Then they need a coach, and Spaletti would be great.
