Seongnam’s Ognenovski confident of win over Melbourne Victory
Seongnam Ilhwa defender Sasa Ognenovski is confident his side can produce a win and take home three points when they meet A-League champions Melbourne Victory in the Asian Champions League tonight.
The former Adelaide United man knows enough about the Victory to pass onto Seongnam officials but said the club have already done enough homework to come to Melbourne and get a favourable result.
"I've passed on a little bit, but the coaches have their own intel(ligence)," Ognenovski said yesterday.
"We've watched DVDs and we watched the final (against Sydney FC on Sunday), so we're well informed about the opposition.
“It was a good result for Victory. I thought Sydney gave too much room to Archie (Thompson) and (Robbie Kruse) and if you give them that, they're going to score goals.
"We're confident in the way we play. We've done enough homework on Melbourne and we're coming here to get the three points."
