Scotland beat Greece 4-1 in Dumbarton to set up a World Cup qualifying decider with Denmark on Wednesday, reports BBC Sport.
The Scots must overcome the group leaders in Vejle to progress to their first-ever major championship finals.
Denmark are unbeaten in the qualifying section and were 1-0 winners on their visit to Scotland in June.
Next year's World Cup finals are in Germany and Denmark will be favourites to progress, having scored 45 goals and conceded none in their seven qualifying games.
However, Scotland are just one point behind, having taken maximum points in all of their other matches.
