Two names have been heavily linked with the vacant head coaching role at Chivas USA.

Following the departure of Preki Radosavljević who has joined Toronto FC, the Los Angeles-based club are in the market for a new coach.

Steve Sampson, former LA Galaxy and USA national team coach, along with Martin Vasquez, ex-Mexico and USA national team player who has served as assistant with the Galaxy, Chivas and Bayern Munich, are the names at the top of the list to replace Preki who took the club to the Western Conference quarter-finals this season.
