Sampdoria have seen talks with Celtic midfielder Massimo Donati stall.

Samp chief Beppe Marotta has been negotiating with Donati about a return to Italy this summer.

But talks have stalled as Donati is waiting to see if he has a place in new Celtic manager Tony Mowbray's plans.
