Salif Diao makes surprise Stoke City return

Salif Diao has retruned to Stoke City to sign a two-year contract.
The Senegal international left Stoke in June when his previous contract at the Britannia Stadium expired.
Diao rejected Stoke's initial offer of a new deal earlier this summer and a number of clubs were thought to be interested in signing the former Liverpool man.
However, Diao has now agreed to return to Stoke and he has inked a two-year contract which will also see him take up a role as a club ambassador.
"Talks have gone very well and finally I have agreed a two year contract and I am very delighted and happy to be back at home," Diao told Sky Sports News.
