Salgado excited about Blackburn team being built
Michel Salgado is excited about the team Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is building.
The 34 year-old former Real Madrid fullback is enjoying his first season in England.
Salgado told the Lancashire Telegraph: “I think it is very important to have the mix of youth and experience we are building. I think we have many very good young players that are growing up and need the advice of the old players.
“They are having a great season and we have three or four ready to play in big teams. Europe is perhaps a bit much this season but why not next season?
“We are building a great team for the future. We can build the platform now. These games coming up are important to build a team for next season. That is very important in the games that are left.”
