Ronaldo sparking sponsor war at Real Madrid

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez faces a sponsorship headache with £80 million man Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sport says Ronaldo's commitment to American sportswear giants Nike is set to cause major anxiety in the front office of adidas sponsored Real Madrid.

Ronaldo appeared for his medical last week at Real sporting a big Nike swoosh on his t-shirt, much to the frustration of Real directors. Nike see Ronaldo as their star man and their aggressive push is unlikely to be reigned in after his move to Madrid.

Real's other Galacticos, Kaka and Karim Benzema, are both adidas sponsored.

The thing is Liverpool are Sponsored by Adidas and Torres wears Nikes...They don't seem to have a problem

craig im starting to think theres something really wrong with you, now ur saying real madrids football sponsors are better than anyone elses? what evidence do you have for that?
if u really want evidence hows this last season champions league final were contested by 2 nike sponsored teams, the 3 big leagues as in italy spain and england were all won by nike sponsored teams. tbh im not sure why im really debating this as it and you are stupid

Stupid, he wasn't even a Real Madrid player when he had that shirt.
Neither company can interfere what to wear on his private time anyway, since he wasn't still with Real, Nike probably paid him extra to have that shirt.
There is no problem, media just need to sell some news.
Hala Madrid,
