Ronaldo insists Real Madrid not one man team

Cristiano Ronaldo insists Real Madrid remain a strong team when he doesn't play.

Real have been able to get their Liga campaign back on course since Ronaldo's return from his injury problems suffered earlier this season.

"I know people talk about me and Madrid and when Madrid are without me, but I really do not think a team relies on a single player," insisted the former Manchester United star.

"The big teams have enough stars, as in this case, Madrid, and they have two different faces when they miss a player."

Asked how he would like his career to be remembered, Ronaldo was modest.

"I want when I've finished my career in football that people look at me and say I was a fantastic player. Nothing more. I want to have left my mark on football's history ..."
