Real Madrid signing Cristiano Ronaldo had a farewell dinner with Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson yesterday.
The Mirror says Ronaldo got a private jet from Portugal for a discreet meal with the United manager, who he called his “second father”.
They met at one of Sir Alex’s favourite restaurants in the swish Alderley Edge Hotel, just a few hundred yards from Ronaldo’s former home in Cheshire.
A source at the hotel said: “It was a low-key affair. Cristiano just wanted to say thanks for everything Sir Alex had done for him.”

80 million notes for one man, great buisness deal, and lets not forget that his attitude towards his team mates on the whole stank. True, more often than not he made things happen at some stage in the game, but i and many other Man U fans didn't like the guy. And to all the negative comments.....Jealousy is a powerful emotion.....Man Utd 4eva......
More like a sympathy lunch!
I wonder if this report is true at all!
